About Us
Whitestone Bridge is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping future generations of the North Korean diaspora by providing supportive environments, rich opportunities, and loving relationships to young North Korean escapees through the support of our global network.
Our Vision
Our vision is to see future generations of North Koreans become valued contributors to the world community. We want the North Korean people to find their God-given dignity and their redemptive place in history.
Our Mission
We believe that investing in younger generations will plant seeds to change the trajectory of North Korea’s future. And so our mission is to provide North Korean youth with opportunities for holistic transformation.
Our Strategy
We coordinate a global network of business leaders and mentors that partner with us to offer apprenticeships, vocational opportunities, and coaching. We develop curricula in concert with schools and teachers for online education and tutoring. We work to organize and equip host families to provide loving homes. We build support networks and platforms for peer-to-peer exchange through exchange programs and meetups.
Our Values
Faith Informed
We recognize and respond to God’s heart as the anchor of our mission. We prayerfully seek His leading to steward opportunities and actions to help North Korea.
Collaboration
We want to help the North Korean people become vital contributors to the world community through the sharing of our resources to facilitate the commitment to helping North Korea.
Transformation
We believe the good news of Jesus Christ informs and impacts every facet of our lives and want the North Korean people to experience the same holistic growth and development.
Integrity
Integrity is the backbone of influence and impact. Congruency between our words and actions is character on full display and we believe this to be the currency of influence.
Legacy
We believe success is measured by the legacy of what is passed between generations. We hope to equip this next generation with the tools and opportunities to dream and hope in order to reveal their true identity as children of God.
